Birth Announcement: Hudson

I have a new little friend now—he's a native New Yorker, and his name is Hudson. {He's the little dude in the blanket and top hat.} I made this illustration to help his parents {the attractive folk holding him up} announce his debut. His big sister gets in on the action too; that's her at the bottom.

Overheard During the Great Office Cleaning

I already adored both of my colleagues before they participated in this conversation, but this clearly must elevate them to hero-status. :) Also, I really wanted to draw a wind-up snail when I heard this.

Funtimes in the City!

I've been plugging away at a rather large project, and finally have some color to show for it! This is the first piece {actually pages 5—6} of an illustrated psalm for the pre-school set.

{The talk of the town—the poofy white cloud on the left eating a cooke—is God.}

Thank Goodness for Magical Rainbow Kittens

Amazing office conversation {a summary}:
A: "Hooray, we've got it! But I don't know where the file came from. It just mysteriously appeared on the server. It must have been the magical rainbow kittens."
B: "Magical rainbow kittens?"
A: "Yes; when things are mysteriously fixed, it's them."
B: "I could totally use some of those magical rainbow kittens right about now."
C: "Me too. Lemme have a bunch of 'em, crawling all over my desk. I'll be the magical rainbow cat lady."
