OK, so not technically making something, but it will be a new {and hopefully better} workspace in which to make things! Living in the Upper West Side with my two roomies has been great, but now I am bidding them {and the mold, the ceiling leaks/waterfalls, the mice infestations, the building that my bike was stolen from, and the mushrooms that grow out of my bedroom wall} adieu. It's time to trade in my shared sunless shoebox for a slightly larger & sunnier shoebox all of my own—a little studio in Midtown Manhattan!
A few blocks from my office in Times Square, a block from my favorite bakery (http://rubyetviolette.com/), two blocks from the Daily Show with Jon Stewart, two blocks from restaurant row, sandwiched between Chelsea and the UWS, and close to my favorite bike path along the river, it seems like a pad in Hell's Kitchen and I could get along.
