My new favorite haunt (coincidentally next to my other favorite haunt—Bryant Park) is the reading room at the 42nd st branch of the New York Public Library. It's like getting to hang out and read at Hogwarts. Except that, unfortunately, there's no Dumbledore. And there are tourists in my library, which is kind of strange.
Another one of my favorite things: walking the streets on a sunny summer weekend morning—before the heat and the people are out. This is 65th st, just off of Central Park West.
